Pedram studied biology at UCLA until he had a series of profound mystical experiences that drew him to the Eastern esoteric arts. He then received his Master’s in Oriental Medicine from Emperor’s College and then his OMD from the PanAmerican University. He has studied Kung Fu, Tai Chi, Qi Gong, Yoga, Meditation, and medicine diligently for the past 20 years. Over the past few years, he has written his first book and produced two documentary movies. Pedram believes that waking up to our full potential is the key. He is passionate about teaching the skills he has learned over the years in order to help people wake up and live their lives fully.

I’ve done a lot and I’ve also sat on my ass meditating for years. I was a Taoist monk for four years and decided my place was back here in the real world where I feel I can make a bigger impact. I’m a Doctor of Oriental Medicine and a Qi Gong master who’s studied Kung Fu and Tai Chi for decades. I climb big mountains and ski down them. I have two kids and a delightful wife and am happy to be a family man. I’m the founder of Well.Org and the producer of the movies “Vitality” and “Origins”. My new book,The Urban Monk, kicks ass and I had a blast writing it. Why? Because my terms with the publisher were that I get to be myself, speak naturally, and tell it like it is.
My newest teachings, The Urban Monk is not about me. It’s about you. I’m here to teach you how to up your energy, take back your time, and step into your passion. The book is all about that. I’m all about that.
