Environmental pollution is the underlying cause of 80% of all chronic degenerative diseases.

This would include the symptoms of DIS-ease as well, including the main problems we're having in America, and even my clients overseas, and that I continue to see are the key goals most people have.

  • MORE ENERGY
  • BEAUTIFUL HAIR & SKIN
  • LESS FAT
  • SEXY BELLY (& DIGESTION)
  • HAPPIER MOOD

You might be surprised to hear that…ALL of these things are DEPENDENT upon your body's ability to flush toxins. Being we are exposed to more than EVER today, and that our body can't keep up with, having a daily Cleansing regiment for 2017 and beyond is CRITICAL.

Today we talk about our MAIN goals and steps for you in order in The Warrior Cleanse:

  1. Reduce Stress & Build Your Adrenal Reserves
  2. Improve Your Ability to Filter Toxins by Fueling Your Liver
  3. Restore Healthy Gut Function
  4. Detoxify Heavy Metals & Chemicals

#1 – Reduce Stress & Build Your Adrenal Reserves

Dr. John Tinterra, M.D., who specialized in adrenal function, surmised in 1969 that 66% of the public could be classified as having severe adrenal exhaustion.

Most of us experience adrenal exhaustion on a daily basis. Today, it is common for many Americans to:

  • Grab a cup of coffee for energy to start the day and consume caffeinated drinks or sugary snacks to try to sustain their energy throughout the day.
  • Go to bed late, wake up early, and push through fatigue instead of laying down to rest.
  • Choose food based on convenience versus nutritional value.
  • Be on the run while eating, paying little attention to eating without stress and chewing food well.

That was before the internet, mobile phones, online gaming, lack of physical education in school and the need for us to be on top of information exponentially increased. This applies to both children and adults. Let's face it, we are a society of fast food eaters, (white, starchy, sugary, salty, and creamy), putting more onto the calendar than is humanly possible, and not stopping to refresh or reset our heart and minds (even for 10 minutes!). These things throw the biology of the body out of balance, affecting our sympathetic nervous system and adrenal function.

Adrenal Stress – What are some of the signs?

  • Energy crashes at different points in the day
  • Low self esteem due to low energy output
  • Feeling anxious
  • Craving sugar or salt
  • Dilated pupils
  • Poor appetite in the morning
  • Decreased tolerance to cold
  • Sensitivity to lights and loud noises
  • Apathy
  • Disturbed sleep
  • Low blood sugar episodes
  • Low levels of gastric hydrochloric acid
  • Sluggish bowels
  • Histamine imbalance
  • Unreasonable fears

The adrenal glands are rounded disc-shaped glands about 3-4 inches across. One sits on top of each kidney, located on either side of your lower back, just above where your ribs end. They secrete a number of hormones that prepare our bodies to respond to stress, and they are essential for life.

#2 – Improve Your Ability to Filter Toxins by Fueling Your Liver

“Up to 20% of Americans have fatty livers.” – Harvard Medical School

What Happens When You Have a Dysfunctional Liver?

Your liver is responsible for over 500 different functions and affects every physiological process in your body. When overburdened, your liver becomes sluggish and is unable to remove environmental toxins efficiently. As a result, your energy levels decrease, you become moody and easily irritated. When your liver is overworked for too long, you become sensitive to food and the environment.

The liver is a complex organ that plays a key role in most metabolic processes, especially detoxification. Liver cells are designed to break down toxic substances that constantly bombard your body. Many of the toxic chemicals your liver must detoxify come from the environment, the content of your bowels, the food you eat, the water you drink, and the air you breathe. Every drug, artificial chemical, pesticide and hormone is broken down (metabolized) by enzyme pathways inside your liver cells.

Symptoms of a Sluggish Liver

  • Feeling tired in the morning
  • Difficulty losing or gaining weight
  • Frequent head pain
  • Intolerance to food
  • Chemical sensitivities including cleaning products, paint, petrol, perfume, bleach, etc.
  • Problems digesting fatty, creamy, or oily foods
  • Skin irritations
  • Feeling flushed; heat rising up from the torso towards the head
  • Waking up between 1 – 3 a.m.
  • Pungent smelling urine

Why is Supporting Healthy Liver Function Important to Your Health?

The simplest and most effective way to cleanse the blood, take the load off the immune system, improve digestion, and facilitate detoxification is by optimizing healthy liver function. The liver bears the brunt of modern day chemicals, accumulating toxins that weaken the immune system. When the liver becomes overburdened and sluggish, unfiltered toxins are left circulating throughout the body and are deposited in fatty tissue. When acids and toxins are eliminated daily and the alkaline reserve is stable, the body is able to maintain healthy balance more efficiently.

The Liver's Impact on Detoxification

Trying to detoxify the body with a congested liver is similar to trying to drive home during traffic hour. The more you push through a traffic jam, the more backed up it gets. The same is true when you try to remove toxins with a congested liver. If you push more toxins through your liver when it's congested, you will experience an increase in irritating symptoms. This creates more work as your body will produce stress hormones which your liver will also have to filter out. As you support and decongest the liver, toxins leave the body much more efficiently and you feel good during detox.

#3 – Restore Healthy Gut Function

“Most people, including many physicians, do not realize that 80% of your immune system is located in your digestive system, making a healthy gut a major focal point if you want to maintain optimal health.” – Dr. Joseph Mercola, MD

The microbial environment of the gastrointestinal tract (GI) is important to our immune system. Typically, a healthy person will have a higher amount of good microorganisms to combat any unhealthy organisms in the lower digestive tract. Symptoms occur when there is an overgrowth of harmful organisms compared to beneficial flora.

In a healthy colon, the beneficial bacteria count is up to 100 billion per milliliter. However, in the typical American intestinal tract, that count may be as low as 4 or 5 billion per milliliter.

Symptoms of Gastrointestinal Imbalance

  • Indigestion, Loose or Hard Stools
  • White Tongue
  • Tiredness
  • High Histamine Response
  • Food Sensitivities
  • Bloating, Belching, or Excessive Flatulence
  • Weak or Cracked Fingernails
  • Skin Irritations

Why is Supporting Healthy Gut Function Important to Your Health?

Research shows beneficial flora in the gut promotes the production of neurotransmitters like serotonin and dopamine, which are connected with speech, communication, socialization, happy moods, a healthy appetite and feeling satisfied and relaxed! Overuse of antibiotics, food that is not properly digested, high carbohydrate intake, heavy metals, and immune imbalances contribute to dysbiosis in the gut or an overabundance of undesirable gut flora. When there is a significant decrease in beneficial flora and a high level of unfriendly flora in the gut, this can create imbalance in the body, inhibit proper nutrient absorption from food and trigger an immune response.

#4 – Detoxify Heavy Metals & Chemicals

“BIORAY® has achieved something simple, yet profound by making all of the valuable aspects of chlorella bioavailable. NDF® & NDF Plus® have been scientifically proven to be the safest and most effective heavy metal and chemical detoxifiers in the world today.” – Dr. Dietrich Klinghardt, M.D., Ph.D.

What is Heavy Metal Toxicity?

Heavy metals are a group of elements on the “heavier” end of the periodic table. Some heavy metals – such as copper, iron, manganese, and zinc – are essential to health in trace amounts. Others are nonessential and can be harmful in excessive amounts, including cadmium, thallium, antimony, mercury, lead, and arsenic. The last three are the most common in cases of heavy metal toxicity.

Heavy metal toxicity is an excessive build-up of metals in the body. Often times, the symptoms produced by heavy metal toxicity are mistakenly perceived as chronic health issues.

What is Chemical Toxicity?

Since World War II, we have developed more than 80,000 chemicals for use in cleaners, pesticides, plastics, personal care products, industrial products and other conveniences. The EPA is using a multi-pronged strategy to ensure the safety of chemicals, recognizing that the current chemicals management law, the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA), needs to be improved and strengthened.

Where are these Environmental Toxins?

Chronic exposure to these heavy metals and toxic chemicals come from contaminated food, air, water, or dust; amalgam fillings, living near a hazardous waste site; spending time in areas with deteriorating lead paint; and many other potential sources. Evaluating your living and working habits may help pinpoint potential heavy metal and chemical sources.

Why is it Important to Know About Exposure to Toxins for my Health?

As daily exposure to toxins continue, many people cannot excrete these heavy metals and chemicals efficiently and a build-up occurs in the body. When numerous metals are present in the body, they have a “synergistic toxicity”. A good example of “synergistic toxicity” is a study performed by Dr. Boyd Haley, professor and chair of the chemistry department at the University of Kentucky. Dr. Haley found that the mortality rate of rats exposed to a small dose of mercury or aluminum killed 1 out of 100 rats. However, when the rats were exposed to both mercury and aluminum at the same time, all 100 rats died – a 100% mortality rate.

Everyone has been subjected to various forms of pollution. The World Health Organization (WHO) acknowledges that:

  • Environmental pollution is the underlying cause of 80% of all chronic degenerative diseases.
  • Heavy metals are the cause of many neurological issues.
  • Women of childbearing age and children should not eat certain heavy metal containing fish.

A study published in the journal Neurotoxicology took samples of the first bowel movement of 426 infants, and the results showed:

  • 84% contained mercury
  • 27% contained lead
  • 27% percent had DDT (a pesticide banned in the US for the last 25+ years)

As persistent as heavy metals and chemicals are, testing for these toxins is not a standard diagnostic procedure. If you are suffering with a chronic degenerative issue, or just don't feel well and don't know why, there is enough evidence to suggest that you should find out if you have elevated levels of toxic metals and chemicals in your body.
